WEPO Intro Post

This is my first post to a regularly updating blog about WEPO (Writing, Editing, and Print Online).  This post specifically will be focused on the basics of this blog, and blogging in general.
A little bit about me: My name is Lucas Dykes, and I am an Editing, Writing, and Media major at Florida State University.  I have made multiple blogs for both school assignments and personal reasons, and I genuinely enjoy blogging.  My passions include acting, writing, diet and exercise, and long walks on the beach.
The semi-professional blogging taking place in this class for the purposes of learning and experimentation.  Regardless of any of our backgrounds in technology or blogging in general, getting hands-on experience with online work through blogging is a useful tool that enhances our knowledge of how to blog and work its more complex features.  While I, personally, have a decent amount of experience in the world of blogging, I can still see much room for improvement.  Improving my work through…well…working will only help me with that matter.
The general audience of this blog will other students or people interested in gaining knowledge of how to create and maintain their blogs.  As the class progresses and more posts are added to this blog, the amount of knowledge and “lessons” on blogging will increase.  Essentially, my audience will sort of be learning with me as I hone my blogging skills.

In short, this blog is a blog about blogging, and I will be blogging regularly to improve my blogging skills as well as my audience’s.  That is all.
