Fair Use

Fair use is a term that encompasses the use of copyrighted materials in your work.  Many websites contain the use of copyrighted material without the direct permission of the owner(s) of said material.  This, however, leads to no legal fiasco because fair use is in play.  The main question that comes with fair use is the question of what actually constitutes it.  Fair use applies when the material being used is used for either research or teaching purposes.  "Research" applies heavily to pretty much every blog I've ever made, so the application of fair use is quite important in my life.
